Goodbye Old Friend
For the first time in about 20 years, I removed the shortcut link from my desktop to Dynamics GP. It was not necessarily a sad day. Using Dynamics GP reminds us of what it was like to drive our first car. It probably wasn’t a great car and you might have disliked so many things about it. But it was the best thing you could get at the time. If you didn’t keep the duct tape fresh or add enough zip ties, something would fall off. Maintenance was constant. Maybe you still have some level of fondness for that first car, that is, until you find that modern new car with all the latest and incredible conveniences…the things we wish we had all along.
